The national minimum foster care allowances for 2010 remail unchanged from those of the previous year.
National Foster Care Fortnight, 2009 has ended.
The growing public awareness of the need for more foster carers to come forward has never been greater but yet we still need to get more people to consider becoming a foster carer. Throughout the year there are appeals made by a host of fostering organisations to encourage the public to consider fostering.
National Foster Care Fortnight was an opportunity where all these organisations can combine their efforts to highlight the challenges and rewards of becoming a foster carer.
