Her mother has tried to leave the relationship and has taken Charmaine with her. However each time Charmaine?s mother eventually returns to her husband. |

| The police were called by neighbours to the family home. When they arrived they found clear evidence of a violent confrontation between Charmaine?s parents, who were still arguing. Charmaine was found huddled in a corner behind the door, shaking. The police took a Police Protection Order and moved her to be cared for by a foster carer with the help of the Night Emergency Social Worker. | ||

I found her recently in bed with my baby daughter?s bottle, she seems to need the comfort she gets from it". |
