Description of Organisation

Action For Children Fostering has a number of projects for a range of children with different needs, requiring different types of foster care.

Some of the children and young people have challenging behaviour, some have been abused and some are disabled.

Action For Children Fostering needs to recruit foster carers who already have considerable experience as parents or working with children and young people.

We offer comprehensive training and support and excellent remuneration. You will be part of a team, valued for your contribution to making a real difference to a child's life.

Action For Children Fostering is a UK charity and all our foster carers need to live in the UK.

We are particularly seeking foster carers who can:

Provide remand fostering or bail support, respite or emergency placements. We also require foster carers who can provide long term placements for young people until they are no longer "looked after" or have moved to independence. (Usually aged 16 to 18 years)
